A Partnership Built on Trust

“Amari has become like a second workplace for me.”

After a moment of reflection, Dr. Korpchoot Tayakkanon smiles.

“I wasn’t sure why you wanted to interview me,” he laughs. “I’ve been coming here for so long that it simply feels familiar.”

As a family medicine physician responsible for organising professional training programmes for healthcare professionals from across Thailand, Dr. Korpchoot spends much of his year coordinating educational events. Finding the right venue is never just about booking meeting rooms. It is about choosing a place that supports both organisers and participants from the moment they arrive.

For years, that place has been Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok.

“Of course we have looked at other hotels,” he explains. “But we keep coming back because everything works for us. It is close to the airport, easy for people travelling from different provinces, and the team already understands how we work.”

Many participants arrive from across the country, often carrying luggage after long journeys. Being able to walk straight into the hotel, settle into their rooms and focus on learning makes a meaningful difference.

“It saves everyone the stress of travelling across the city,” he says. “That convenience is something our participants really appreciate.”

Over the years, the relationship has grown beyond a typical client and venue partnership.

“The team knows us,” Dr. Korpchoot says. “They understand what our programmes need.”

Whether it is arranging meeting spaces, preparing additional monitors for breakout sessions or coordinating last minute requests, he knows there is always someone ready to help.

“I usually ask for the same things each time,” he explains. “If they can do it, they always try to make it happen.”

That reliability has become especially valuable when managing large scale training programmes that run almost every month.

For Dr. Korpchoot, it is not simply about solving problems. It is about working with people who genuinely care.

“Everyone is always willing to help,” he says. “From the sales team to the operational staff, they know us well and make everything run smoothly.”

Even the smallest details do not go unnoticed.

In the past, if he spotted a maintenance issue in his room, he would photograph it and send it directly to the hotel team so it could be resolved before another guest arrived.

“My friend used to joke that I was the hotel’s inspector,” he laughs.

It was never about finding fault. Instead, it reflected the trust that had developed through years of working together.

“When you’ve worked with people for so long, you want to help each other.”

Although the hotel has evolved over the years through renovations and operational changes, Dr. Korpchoot appreciates that the team continues to listen to feedback and adapt wherever possible.

“No place is perfect,” he says. “But what matters is that we can always talk to each other.”

Looking back, he realises that what began as a practical decision has become something much more meaningful.

“I come here to work,” he says. “But after all these years, ‘Amari Don Muang’ feels like part of my routine.”

It is a familiarity built not only on location or facilities, but on people who understand what matters most. Through thoughtful support, dependable service and genuine relationships, they have helped brighten countless training programmes and made every return feel reassuringly familiar.
